The Samsung Galaxy S26 could return to exynos in some regions, but is it something so bad?

  • According to reports, some Samsung Galaxy S26 models will use an exyn 2600 chipset
  • However, it seems that others will still have a snapdragon chipset
  • Snapdragon chips are generally more powerful, but the gap could be closing

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series has been a bit anomaly, since while Samsung usually uses two different chipsets for its Galaxy S phones (depending on the model and the region), this year used the Snapdragon 8 Elite in all areas. Next year, however, we could see a divided chipset again.

This agrees with the leaks of good reputation @jukanlosreve, who said in X that “the exynos 2600 has definitely returned and will be used in the S26”. However, it does not seem that this is a complete change of Snapdragon, since they added that the volume of chip is apparently limited.
