- Samsung Galaxy S26 is expected to launch on February 25
- Most likely, there will be three main models in the series.
- It also looks like Samsung’s triple launch is near
We’re expecting quite a few high-end Samsung Galaxy phones in the coming weeks and months, and two new leaks have offered some hints about when we might see the Galaxy S26 series and the triple-folding model Samsung has been working on.
First, the Samsung Galaxy S26 phones. We think there will be three models this year (a standard, a Plus, an Ultra), with the possibility of a fourth model succeeding the Galaxy S25 Edge, which may end up being even slimmer.
There is now a report from South Korean outlet Money Today (via @Jukanlosreve) indicating that some or all of these Galaxy S26 phones will be unveiled on Wednesday, February 25 at an event taking place in San Francisco, USA.
That’s later in the year than the Galaxy S25 launch, which occurred on January 22, and that follows previous rumors of delays. The report also repeats a previous rumor that the standard, Plus and Ultra models will use Samsung’s Exynos chips.
Samsung’s triple
Then we have Samsung’s triple, which was first teased at the launch of the Galaxy S25 in January, and looks likely to arrive before the end of the year: Samsung’s first phone with two hinges instead of one.
The SamMobile team has discovered that the phone has gone through the necessary regulatory steps to be recognized as a device with Bluetooth capabilities, which is a step that usually means a piece of hardware is about to be released.
According to sources who spoke to SamMobile, for starters, the triple will be available in the US, China, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates. It’s possible it will be sold in more countries sometime in 2026, but that’s far from certain at this point.
The Samsung triple was officially shown off for the first time earlier this week, at the K-Tech Showcase in South Korea. However, it was out of reach in a display case, so the reveal didn’t really tell us much new.
