- Several new rumors point to problems of significant specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
- The next -generation Samsung flagship could obtain a 60W load, a thinner design, better cameras and more
- The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has not been announced, and we do not expect any confirmation in any way for these rumors until next year
It seems difficult to believe, but it has spent almost half a year since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Since its launch, Samsung’s last high -end phone has continued to impress, keeping points in our lists of the best phones, better camera phones, better Android phones and more.
Now, a handful of new rumors point to some important updates for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, which could make the best Samsung Galaxy phone even more impressive.
Faster load
The first suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could be launched with a higher 60W maximum load speed, as a reference, the Ultra Galaxy S25 is loaded at 45W.
That is according to the user Erenyilmaz075 in X, who managed to find 60W references that they charge in what seems to be the unpublished firmware of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
In comparison with its western contemporaries, the Galaxy S25 Ultra actually charges quite fast: we previously reported that the iPhone 16 Pro Max had been registered as drawing 28W during Chargerlab tests, while Google Pixel 9 Pro XL also has a 45W rating.
However, many Android phones now offer very fast loading speeds. OnePlus and Oppo phones benefit from patented supervnoócal technology, for example, which generally offers speeds of around 80W.
With the Ultra Galaxy S26 it is expected to inherit the same 5000 mAh cell of the Ultra Galaxy S25, I think that an increase in the power raffle will be a valuable and valuable addition that should be significantly reduced by loading times.
A thinner frame
Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the last in its folding telephone line, and is clear just looking at the new phone that Samsung invested strongly in a new thinner design for its most expensive phone.
Another rumor suggests that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be the following in the row for a thinned redesign.
In an X (previously Twitter) publication, a remarkable Tipster Universice (previously known as Ice Universe, and now using the PhoneRart screen name) said that the Galaxy S26 Ultra would reach “7.x mm”, below 8.2 mm in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. That could involve a reduction of 0.3 mm up to 1.2 mm.
Universeic also shared a render of the Galaxy S26 Ultra that shows the three largest cameras contained in a style housing 7 Galaxy Z fold 7, probably because the main body of the phone would be too thin to adapt to the cameras.
This is what we currently know about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: The body will become even thinner to 7.x mm, with a slightly larger width and height, while weighing a few grams of 6.9 inches with depolarizing technology of COE + anti-fective of third generation … pic.twitter.com/JP0M8RTQ9MJuly 28, 2025
A new chipset
It is expected that the Ultra Galaxy S26 will be launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which is not yet announced, but it will probably be the most powerful chipset available for Android users when it is launched.
This could mark a division between the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus, which is expected to be launched with Samsung’s own exyn 2600 chipset.
This was suggested following a deep firmware immersion by Sammobile, and backed by Univesex comments.
Oneui 8.5
Oneui 7 was launched with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, the Ultra Galaxy S25 among them, but an UI 8 is already here, since it was launched with the new Galaxy Z fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 folding phones.
According to another Sammobile report, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be launched with an UI 8.5, an updated version of Samsung’s current generation software.
This should allow Samsung to launch the Ultra Galaxy S26 with some new features without committing to a full version update.
Since the deployment of an UI 7 was staggered for several months, Samsung can also be interested in avoiding the news about the Galaxy S26 series with news of a slow software launch.
Improved cameras
As we report before, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is inclined to obtain some updates to its camera system.
Univesex has again suggested that the main sensor will obtain a larger opening and that the 3X Teleobjective Chamber will get a larger sensor. The Tipster also hinted at a larger opening for the 5X telephoto camera.
The Update cycle for the Galaxy S series has felt quite incremental in recent years, but if these rumors are valid, the Ultra Galaxy S26 could be a much greater update than we expected. Make us know what you want to see from the next Samsung high -end flagship ship in the comments below.
