- The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 could use an elite chipset Snapdragon 8 instead of an exy 2500
- We also listen that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could cost more than its predecessor
- However, at least it could be very thin
One of the most worrying rumors of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 that we have been listening to is that he could use an exyn 2500 chipset, since, although this would be an update in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 used by the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, it is not the most desirable chipset.
That would be the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is the successor of Gen 3, and probably more capable than Samsung’s exynos alternative. But now, there is hope that we can get the Snapdragon 8 Elite after all.
The Greek techmaniacs site claims to have learned that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will use this chipset, in addition to having a larger battery than its predecessor to 4,300 mAh, a larger 4 -inch cover screen (compared to 3.4 inches in the Z Flip 6), and the same main chambers of 50 megapixels and ultraviestral 12MP.
With the exception of chipset, these are things that we have heard before, and although most previous leaks pointed to an exy 2500 chipset, one suggested that there are galaxy z Flip 7 prototypes with both chipsets.
Therefore, Techmaniacs is not totally only by stating that Snapdragon 8 Elite will be used. But if Samsung was creating prototypes of both versions, it is possible that the company has not yet decided, or that some regions use one and others.
Turn the fold
In any case, Techmaniacs has also shared some details about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, claiming that it will have only 8.2 mm thick when folding, which would do it much thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 6 of 12.1 mm.
They also say that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have an elite chipset Snapdragon 8, although unlike Z Flip 7, this was always rumored for the Z Fold 7.
In addition, as previously rumored, it could have a new 200MP main camera (in front of 50MP in the Galaxy Z Fold 6), together with the same Ultra-on-on-on-Wide and 10MP 3x telephoto cameras as last year.
Finally, it will apparently cost around € 100 (approximately $ 115 / £ 85 / au $ 180) more than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, although we would take this with a pinch of salt, since other prices rumors of Samsung Galaxy Z fold 7 put it at the same price as last year.
We should find out exactly how much the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 costs, and everything else about it and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, quite soon, as rumors suggest that both phones will land in July.
