- A presentation for the galaxy z fold 7 has been seen
- It seems that the Qi2 wireless load standard will be compatible
- However, a magnetic connection cannot be offered
There is no doubt about Magsafe ‘comfort in the best iPhones, which allows you to attach a wireless charger through magnets, but most Android phones have not yet updated with technology, and it seems that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will also be lost.
A presentation of what looks like Samsung’s next folding badge appeared in the Power Wireless consortium, as 9th5google saw it: this is one of the necessary steps that the phones have to happen before they are allowed to go on sale worldwide.
Based on some model of model number detectives, this seems to be the Galaxy Z FOLD 7, and is configured to be the first folding Samsung in admitting the latest Qi2 wireless load standard. However, the part of that support is likely to be missing.
In other words, you will still need a third -party case to obtain that easy method of cargo and accessories accessory that MAGSAFE provides. It is a situation similar to the 16E iPhone, which admits the wireless load but not by Magsafe.
The waiting game
It may not be surprising that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 use a diluted version of the Qi2 load, because Samsung Galaxy S25 phones that were launched at the beginning of the year use the same configuration that we have seen in this leak.
We must point out that the HMD Skyline telephone launched last year has the complete set of QI2 features, including Magsafe’s equivalent. However, as is currently the only Android phone that admits the standard, you may have difficulty finding a charger.
Eventually, this is something that should reach a broader range of Android phones, although it does not seem that this year is the year. Maybe we could have some positive news when Google Pixel 10 appears.
It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 (which can well offer the same Qi2 load) will be launched at some point in July, and one thing we know with certainty about them is that they will come to execute an UI 8.
