As Iran and Israel agreed to stop the fire after almost two weeks of hostilities, the Saudi heir prince Mohammed Bin Salman recognized the constructive role of Pakistan in the promotion of a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s office on Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with the Saudi heir prince during which the two leaders exchanged views on the situation in rapid evolution in the Middle East.
Prime Minister Sharif expressed Pakistan’s full support for the immediate descalization and a peaceful resolution of Iran’s crisis -israel through dialogue and diplomacy.
Referring to recent attacks, he emphasized the importance of adhesion to international law and the principles of the UN Charter by all parties. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The prime minister conveyed a deep appreciation to the heir prince for his “sagaz leadership and commendable efforts” in the restoration of regional peace, noting that these efforts reflected the role of the kingdom as an internationally pacifier and his leadership within the Muslim Ummah.
He also reiterated Pakistan’s gratitude for Saudi support during recent tensions with India, affirming Islamabad’s preparation for a significant dialogue with New Delhi in all outstanding issues, including Jammu and Kashmir, water, trade and terrorism.
The heir prince, in turn, thanked Sharif for the call and praised the solidarity of Pakistan. He recognized Islamabad’s constructive role in promoting a diplomatic solution to the conflict of Iran and Israel and reaffirmed the commitment of Saudi Arabia with the peace and lasting stability in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, in a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it welcomed efforts to revive dialogue and diplomacy, stating that regional peace can only be achieved by strict adhesion to the UN letter and refrain from the use of force. He averaged continuous support for all those peace initiatives.
The president of Alto El Fuego was negotiated by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, after his conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while vice president JD Vance and other senior US officials participated in parallel discussions with Iranian representatives.

However, on Tuesday, President Trump accused Israel and will violate the truce only a few hours later, specifically warning Israel after a renewed military action near Tehran.
Publishing in his social platform of truth shortly before leaving for the NATO summit in The Hague, he wrote: “Israel. Do not drop those bombs. If you do, it is an important rape. Bring your pilots home, now!” Later he told reporters that “he was not happy” with both sides for violating the agreement, particularly Israel.
