Islamabad:
The Senate, on Friday, unanimously approved a resolution that reaffirms the unwavering commitment of the nation to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty, defend democratic values and build a prosperous and united future for the next generations.
The resolution moved by the Federal Minister of Law Azam Nazeer Tarar in relation to Independence Day, promised national unity, sustainable development and economic empowerment while honoring the vision of Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnaah and the sacrifices of those who laid Pakistan’s bases.
