Ankara:
The Ministers of Foreigners and Defense of Turkey will visit Pakistan on Wednesday to talk with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss bilateral ties, regional problems and cooperation of the defense industry, a Turkish diplomatic source said Tuesday.
Türkiye has strong ties with Pakistan and expressed solidarity with him during his military conflict with India in May, angry India.
During the visit, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will express Turkey’s desire to deepen the ties in each field and offer Ankara’s support to take measures towards regional peace, said the source. Fidan will emphasize that countries “need to strengthen their cooperation in the defense industry,” said the source.
