The Solana Seeker phone is not its average smartphone, nor does it want to be. On the basis of the lessons of its predecessor, the saga, the newest device of Solana Mobile reinvents what can be a native cryptographic phone. Smaller, lighter and with a more durable battery compared to its predecessor, the SEEKER aims to improve the user experience while the mobile cryptographic usability is doubled first.
Outside the box, it is clear to whom this device is: active solar users who regularly perform transactions in the chain in the chain, with the design focusing on all Crypto-Firs. According to a slide platform shared by Solana Mobile, the Seeker phone comes with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB for storage, a 6.36 -inch screen and a 4500 mAh battery, which should be enough to place it between an iPhone 16 of Apple and iPhone 16 Plus on paper in terms of size.
It uses a mediatek dimensity 7300 Octa-Core processor, which is somewhat less powerful than an flagship phone from Apple or Samsung, but is largely in line with exynos 1580, the chip that drives the A56 smart phone of Samsung average range. The phone runs on Android 15.

Seed vault wallet, identification, token
In the center of the search engine is the seed vault, which protects its private cryptography keys with encryption and biometric access. On the upper part of that is the seed wallet of Solana Mobile seeds, which is integrated with the seed vault and acts as Apple Pay, which allows users to approve and verify their transactions. And like Apple Pay, it has a touching function to pay.

Beyond hardware, the phone is placed in a new type of digital identity. When configuring, each user receives a genesis token and a unique search engine, permanently linking the device to the user.
The phone will also have a unique token skr, a new token for the ecosystem that is not yet live. Although project developers have not yet shared many details on how the Token will work, the team wrote that “it will feed the economy, incentives and the property of the ecosystem.”
User experience
Although I am loyal to my iPhone, the search engine felt quite easy to navigate for those who are not accustomed to an Android device. Jumping from applications was perfect without a clumsy experience. The phone has capabilities to download conventional Google App Store applications, and can supposedly allow cell connection (this phone did not come with a SIM).
While I could not completely try mobile connectivity, the interface was surprisingly soft and receptive, without remarkable or uncomfortable delay. For anyone who doubts about the change of ecosystems, the Seeker offers a sufficiently familiar experience that will not make him feel lost.

To make participants actively use the device, Mobile Solana is generating impulse through its search engine season, launching this September, which developers claim will bring exclusive features, early access and DAPPS benefits that participate in the Ecosystem of the DAPP Solana store.
