The Solana (Sol) network is now live in MetamSk

Solana users can now access the network through a metamash wallet.

Metamask announced on Tuesday that its integration of Solana was live, which means that users can now make transactions on the second largest smart contract platform and interact with solana -based applications through the wallet.

“Let’s be honest. Wallet management through Metamask and Solana used to be a bit terrible. But no more,” said the blog post. “With the latest version of Metamask Extension, you can use solana natively. Just along with its Ethereum accounts, all in an interface.”

Integration is currently only on the desk, but it is scheduled to go live in the Metamask mobile application in the coming weeks, according to the post.

Metamask is the most used browser wallet of Ethereum Network, with more than 100 million users per year.

While the wallet already admitted other networks, Solana is the first Non -EVM network (which means the first network that does not use the Ethereum computer engine) that will be integrated. The blog publication declared that other networks that are not EVM would soon follow.
