Diogo Jota, the Liverpool star who died with his brother in a car accident last week, was traveling through the speed limit, authorities in Spain said Tuesday.

The Spanish Civil Guard investigation is still ongoing, but they said that his belief is that Jota was driving too fast in his Lamborghini before a tire exploded, which forced the car.

The investigation also led to the belief that Jota was the one he was driving. There were no police indications about who was driving, Jota or André Silva.
