Washington capitals The star TJ Oshie has called him a race after 16 seasons in the NHL.

“Seven years ago, my teammates and I swam in that source celebrating an incredible moment in our careers,” said Oshie, remembering the capitals. ‘ Stanley Cup Celebrations in 2018. “I can’t thank the Caps enough. Another first class movement for them to have my retirement here, invite all people. It really made this day special.”
Oshie, 38, was recruited in the first round of the 2005 NHL draft by the SAN LUIS BLUESwhere he played seven seasons before being changed to Washington in 2015. He recorded 192 goals and 193 assists (385 points) in 567 games with the capitals, just following Alex Ovechkin for most of the team’s goals.

“I would like to thank Washington’s capitals and St. Louis Blues for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love, all my teammates who fought with me every night, my coaches who challenged me to be better every day and the athletics coaches that prepared me to play,” Oshie said in a statement provided by the National Association of Players of the Hockey League.
“I also want to thank fans, their energy and passion made each game memorable, and it was an honor to play in front of you.”
Oshie was marginalized last season with a current back injury. Its end NHL The game was on April 28, 2024, against the New York Rangers in the playoffs.

“I like to think that when I was playing, I was playing for my teammates, for my coaches, for my family, for my fans. I rarely thought about my own praise,” Oshie said Monday. “Being remembered (like a type of ‘Guerrero’ player) is a great honor because that was my goal and the way I played the game.”
