The Boston Celtics have already secured a playoff place and entered Tuesday with the second best record at the Eastern Conference of the NBA.
The defending champions extended their winning streak to six games on Monday when they defeated the Sacramento Kings.
But the coaches and fans of the Celtics contained their collective breath in the third quarter when the Estrella Estrella Jays Tatum held his ankle while laying on the court.

While Tatum had a pain visibly in the moments after the foul, the chief coach of the Celtics, Joe Mazzulla, suggested that the six-time NBAs of the NBA avoided a serious injury.

“It seems good,” Mazzulla said. “I didn’t see the work, but they made the right call. Fortunately that he could shoot the free throws. [He’s] taking care of that right now. “Tatum made one of his two free kick attempts before leaving the game.
Tatum led the Celtics at points before he was forced to make an early trip to the locker room. He made the trip without help from the training personnel. His night ended with 25 points, and told ESPN that his ankle was “only sore.”

Tatum added that the team plans to be cautious. “
Sabonis then issued an apology to Tatum.
“I feel horrible,” Sabonis told reporters. “I have had a crazy month, personally, and you never want that to happen. So, I apologize.”
Sabonis can be related to Tatum. The Kings center recently dealt with an ankle injury. The three-time All-Star lost three games before returning to the alignment of the Kings on Monday.
