The 43 -year -old actor won five Emmys during the day for his role as Lucky Spencer despite his intermittent appearances since he assumed the role in 1993.
In a recent interview with Television internThe actor shared that his reasons to leave are the round trip between California, where the program’s films, and his home in Tennessee, where he and his family live.
“There was always that possibility because it was an experiment a bit of my part to see if I could make it work with family dynamics,” said Jackson, who shares three children with his wife and the former co -star of the General Lisa Vultaggio Hospital.
Jackson, who joined the program in August 2024, shared that he did everything possible to maintain a balance between work and life, but finally did not work for him. “We gave him our best chance, but we couldn’t keep it going,” he admitted.
The actor insisted that he had waited “to be able to stay longer” than the nine months he spent with the cast.
“There are not so many situations in life that you can go and enter this world, where much has changed and has remained the same,” he said, pointing out the “incredible connections” that he has with many of the crews and those who work in the program.
