Peshawar:

A high -level Taliban commander on Wednesday that the militants participating in combat in a foreign country without the authorization of the AMIR are not justified in doing so, and added that such individuals cannot be considered as Mujahideen or jihadists.

This was declared by Saeedullah Saeed, a main commander of the Military Academy of Hazrat Hamza, during a graduation ceremony for 400 police personnel in Kabul.

“Those who challenge the orders of Amirul Momineen Mullah Hibatullah Akhund and will fight beyond the borders of another country (without appointing Pakistan) are not justified and are disobeying Amir’s orders,” Saeed said.

“People who join one group or another to participate in jihad in a foreign country are not considered very much or jihadists,” he added.

This is the third time that Amirul Momineen Hibatullah Akhund has directed all the followers and communicated to the commanders along the western border of Pakistan that any jihad undertaken without the decree of the amir or the advice of Ulema is considered stupid (illegal or corrupt).

The message came after a drone strike in Janikhel, Bannu, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday, which killed more than 70 militants. The investigations after the attack revealed that more than 30 of the victims were Afghan national, added a source.

After the incident, Islamabad sent a severe message to Kabul, warning that if the cross -border recruitment did not stop, the repercussions would be more severe, the source added.

Amirul Momineen’s message was transmitted to all military commanders along the Pak-Faghan border. A recent Tashkeel (a great Taliban formation) was successfully frustrated, and several recruiters were arrested in the provinces of Khost, Paktika and Paktiya, collectively known as Loya Paktiya or Paktiya larger, the Stronghold of the Haqqani network.

This was the second time that such measures were implemented: first after the Minister of Defense of Pakistan, Khawaja Asif, visited Kabul, and now after the recent visit of the Chinese and Pakistani delegations, said the source.

“A total of more than fifteen recruiters were arrested, including people who were part of Tashkeel,” added a provincial source.

According to the source, the message delivered by the main commander of the Military Academy of Hazrat Hamza was of a very important nature, aimed at all who would be in charge of matters.

The message came at a time when a tripartite meeting between Pakistan, China and Afghanistan is held in Kabul in July.

Is China a union force?

Haq Nawaz Khan, security analyst and journalist at The Washington Post, told the Peshawar office of the Express PAkGazette that “China is the union force behind the ease of tensions between Islamabad and Kabul, while regional realignment, development and success of CPEC projects are closely linked to the safety of the region.”

Haq Nawaz Khan explained that multiple threats rooted in Afghanistan extend beyond TTP, including groups such as Hafiz Gul Bahadur, ISKP and the Islamic Party of Turkistan (previously known as the Eastern Turkistan Islamic movement), which is known by their experience in drone technology. He added that, according to the reports, this group has supplied drones to the Baloch Liberation Army (Bla) and the Baluchistan Liberation Front (BLF), whose union is also known as bras. In addition, several nationalist forces of Baloch, including Bla and BLF, maintain links with Afghan soil.

The Council was known for providing drone technology to TTP. The BLF was also among the recipients to whom Islamabad has asked to be restricted. According to the reports, the Council is also behind the supply of laser technology and thermal engineering systems to the Liberation Forces of TTP and Baluchistan, as the Express PAkGazette has learned.

If China did not support the unusual alliance between Islamabad and Kabul, the Qandharis would have allied with Iran and others, while the Haqqani network would have aligned with the EAU and the Saudi Arabia. However, Beijing has cut all those ties for now, he said.

Projects for Afghanistan

The source revealed that the next rail and road initiatives include a railroad that connects Hirat to Parachinar and Kohat, which will be linked to the existing route of Karachi with Chinese support to Peshawar.

“During the Chinese negotiations, Mullah Hibatullah requested that the railroad also spread to southern Afghanistan, joining the provinces of Kandahar and Herat, which were considered part of the project,” added the source.

The existing Kabul-Jajalabad road through Mahipar will be replaced by a road that connects several eastern provinces, while another road will link Kandahar to Kabul, and a third will run from Kabul to Mazar-E-Sharif, said the senior official.
