A 16 -year -old swimmer has put himself in the radar of the Los Angeles Olympic Games of 2028 after breaking a record in the United States Swimming Championship 2025 on Wednesday that was previously in the hands of Michael Phelps.
Every time the name of Phelps comes into play in the pool, you know that it is an incredible feat taking into account the 28 Olympic medals of the Americans (23 gold), which is a record of all time.
But Luka Mijatovic took a Phelps record after publishing a free-style time of 200 meters from 1: 45.92, which not only destroyed the registration of the age group of 15-16 (1: 47.29), but also the age group of 17-18 age held by Phelps.

Phelps swam at 1: 45.99, but Mijatovic hit him in his last lap.
The return of the Summer Olympic Games to Los Angeles is still three years away, but Mijatovic is certainly someone to see after his performance.

Mijatovic has been built so far, after having finished first in the freestyle of 500 yards and the 200 -yards freestyle in the State Championship of the Interscolstic Federation of California in May.

He is one of the best classified high school swimmers, and currently occupies the first place in the state of California.
The high school student was surrounded by some Olympics who were already in the swimming championship, which began on Tuesday.
Torri Huske, Bobby Finke, who has already won the free of 1500 meters of the event, and the consummated Katie Ledecky was among those who competed in Indianapolis.

These championships are for swimmers to win a place in the World Championship, which will take place in Singapore in July and August.
