A young psychologist was shot and injured during an attempt to rob near Hill Park in Shaheed-E-Millat Road on Tuesday morning, police said.

The victim, Syed Shaheer Javed, 27, was intercepted by armed assailants on the service adjacent to the Bagh-O-Bahar marriage hall. Police said the suspects opened fire when the victim resisted, hurting him before fleeing the scene with his newly bought motorcycle.
