The winning height in that meeting was another higher foot.

According to online records, Zachary Rose competed in the category of children in 2023. The following year, Lia Rose also competed in the same category. But this year, Lia Rose was classified as competing in the girls category.

In 2024, LIA competed mainly against JV Boys, with a second place and a 5 -foot personal record even.

Zachary competed as a second year student on the track with a better second -second end in a 3,000 -meter JV race, but there were only two competitors. Zachary lost more than a minute.

The 4 -foot and 8 -inch brand of Wednesday appears as a “personal record.”

A spokesman for Portland’s public schools could not confirm or deny that LIA and Zachary are the same person, citing the family educational and privacy rights law “to protect the privacy of students.”

Lia’s victory occurs approximately two weeks after Ada Gallagher, a Track Athlete in the Portland area, exploited the competition.
