The Transport of Transport of SENDH has officially launched an online system for the issuance of physical conditioning certificates for commercial vehicles throughout the province.
This new initiative, which began on March 25, aims to optimize the process, reduce corruption and improve transparency, said Express News.
The senior minister of Sindh, Sharjeel Inam Memon, announced that two new fitness centers in Karachi, at the Zulfiqarabad oil terminal in Malir and Ibrahim Hyderi in Korangi, have begun to perform physical inspections of commercial vehicles.
These centers are equipped with avant -garde tools and treated by qualified technical teams to ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards before exercises certificates are issued by motor vehicle inspectors.
“With the introduction of this system online, we point to an officeless office environment, a better income management and elimination of fraudulent documentation,” Memon said.
He stressed that the new system covers the provincial transport authority, the Regional Transportation Authority and the Regional District Transport authorities, which mark an important reform in the department.
In the initial phase, 63 vehicles were inspected in the new centers, with 30 certified vehicles of physical conditioning and 33 vehicles that are considered not suitable.
The second phase will expand this service to another division headquarters in every Sindh.
Memon added that the online emission of route permits and physical conditioning certificates guarantees greater transparency and makes the whole process more responsible.
The new system includes modern security features, which allows the immediate verification of the vehicle on the site.
