Türkiye Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and National Defense Minister Yasir Güler arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday for an official visit to Pakistan.
The Turkish delegation was received by the additional secretary of Western Asia, Ambassador Syed Ali Asad Gillani, upon arrival.
During the visit, the two parties are expected to discuss bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, including cooperation in the defense industry.

Türkiye has maintained strong ties with Pakistan and has expressed its support for Islamabad during its military conflict with India in May, a position that caused criticism of New Delhi.
During the visit, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will express Turkey’s desire to deepen the ties in each field and offer Ankara’s support to take measures towards regional peace, said the source.
