Minnesota Twins pitcher Taj Bradley changed his routine before his start against San Diego’s parents on Saturday; He decided to study exploration reports for the first time.

Bradley turned a gem in five entries when he allowed a blow race and struck out six batters. However, the bullpen could not maintain leadership when the offensive fell. San Diego scored seven races in the seventh and won the game 12-3.

It was a better beginning for Bradley than his debut for twins. It was acquired from the Rays of Tampa Bay before the exchange deadline. Last week, it allowed seven races in nine hits. The difference seemed to be his study routine.

“I just never did it at all,” Bradley said, through the Star Tribune. “I was a bit blind all the time. After my last exit, I had a lot of soft contact, so I thought that now is the time. Ok, put my head in the books, learn a little about the batters against those who face.”

The twins manager, Rocco Baldelli, did not seem too worried about Bradley’s habits.

“Honestly, whatever helps men take the mound with confidence and allows them to do their job well, that is the way I want them to think,” he said. “If you are throwing the ball like that, whatever your mentality, that is the mentality that you should have because that is a very good leagues.”

The Rays selected Bradley in the fifth round of the 2018 Draft MLB. He made his debut in 2023 and had an effectiveness of 5.59 in 23 games.
