- Samsung is implementing an UI 7 for all Galaxy S and Galaxy Z phones of the Galaxy Z series in the US.
- The expected update effectively ends a prolonged display of months for update based on Android 15
- In the months since an IU 7 was launched prior to liberation, Android 16 has been confirmed and a UI 8 is rumored
Samsung is finally implementing a Galaxy phone from UI 7 to older in the United States, after months of delays and ambiguity on the launch of the last mobile operating system of the Korean Tech Titan.
As reported by Android Authority, Samsung is now implementing its version update of the most recent operating system to the full range of compatible phones, after the Galaxy S24 series obtained the update in April 2025.
The complete list of devices included in this last stage of the deployment of a long duration of One UI 7 includes:
- Galaxy S23 Fe
- Galaxy S22 series
- Galaxy S21 series
- Galaxy z fold 4
- Galaxy z fold 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
According to the Sammobile list of a device backed by UI 7, this means that once the deployment has been completed, an UI 7 will finally be available on all galaxy s and galaxy z phones in the US. UU. Presumably, other regions will follow their example soon.
In particular, the Android authority report does not mention whether this latest version will bring an UI 7 to any telephone of the Galaxy A series, while the Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 recently released, we have not heard so much about previous generations.
Apparently, Samsung has struggled to put an UI 7 on the ground. The Android 15 -based operating system was launched with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in January, although this was officially a construction prior to the launch of the software.
Here in Techradar, we have widely informed about the various updates and rumors that surround an UI 7 and its prolonged launch through our dedicated Samsung Galaxy phone coverage, but now it seems that an end is in sight.
However, with Google approaching the launch of Android 16, it is worth asking if this delay will affect Samsung’s update schedule in the future.
Recently we report supposedly filtered images that show an early version of an UI 8 that runs in a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, but it is not known when this update can arrive.
However, we do not move too much: this is a great moment for the owners of Samsung Galaxy, and although I have not impressed exactly the deployment of a UI 7, it is good to see Samsung pass.
Now that Samsung’s last software update is not limited only to the best Samsung phones, many more users will get access to their revised user interface, a new bar function now and a system of re -elaborated notifications, among other new features.
