The UN Secretary General, António Guterres, expressed serious concern for the recent missile attacks of India about Pakistan, urging both nations to exercise maximum military restriction.
The UN Chief emphasized that “the world cannot afford military confrontation between India and Pakistan,” highlighting the regional instability potential.
International leaders, including US officials, have requested decallation and dialogue to avoid more conflicts.

The tensions between India and Pakistan intensified sharply after a series of attacks by Indian missiles against the Pakistani territory.
According to the Director General of Public Relations between Services (DG ISPR), the General, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the Indian forces carried out air attacks in six places inside Pakistan, including Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muzafcharabad, Bagh and Muridke.
At a media conference held early Wednesday, the ISPR DG confirmed that eight civilians were killed and another 33 injured in the attacks. He affirmed that the Armed Forces of Pakistan responded with a strong and coordinated military operation in retaliation.
Security sources reported that Pakistan knocked down five Indian planes during the confrontation. According to the reports, the Indian jets carried out strikes in objectives within Pakistan while operating from the Indian airspace. The sources added that all Pakistani airplanes involved in the response returned safely and were completely counted.
The air attacks in India occurred in the midst of the tensions between the two nuclear armed neighbors after the attack in the Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk) of India, which resulted in multiple casualties. India blamed Pakistan for the attack without providing evidence, an accusation that Islamabad has firmly rejected.
