Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, head of the Parliamentary Delegation of Pakistan to the United Kingdom, has firmly rejected the accusations of India against Pakistan, calling them without foundation and without support for credible evidence, after the recent incident of Pahalgam.
After successfully completing his visit to the United States, the Pakistani delegation arrived in the United Kingdom on Sunday to present Pakistan’s position on Indian aggression.
The group of nine members had conversations with representatives of the United Nations, diplomats of the Member States and senior US officials in an effort to present Pakistan’s narrative about the recent conflict of Pakistan-India and defend peace in southern Asia.

Speaking at a meeting of the parliamentary group of all the matches in Pakistan, organized by the member of Parliament Yasmin Qureshi at the Westminster Palace in London on Tuesday, Bilawal directed crossed British parliamentarians, informing them in Pakistan’s position.
“Indian attacks against civilians, violations of the sovereignty of Pakistan and the suspension of the Indo Water Treaty could lead to dangerous consequences for regional and international peace,” said Bilawal. He criticized the unilateral actions of India and urged a renewed commitment to peace and dialogue.
“We are committed to a calibrated and responsible response in line with international law, particularly the right to self -defense under the UN Letter,” he said. He emphasized Pakistan’s dedication to moderation and requested a renewed dialogue, focusing on all pending issues, especially Kashmir’s dispute.

In his meeting with the president of the Chamber of the Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed Pakistan’s concerns about the unjustified military strikes of India against civilians and the suspension of the Indo’s Waters Treaty. He urged the protection of the holiness of international treaties and warned against the “water weapons.”
The delegation emphasized that sustainable peace in southern Asia could only be achieved through a fair resolution of the problem of Kashmir, as described by the UN letter and the relevant resolutions of the Security Council.
The president of the House of Commons recognized the long -standing cordial relations between the United Kingdom and Pakistan and reiterated the United Kingdom’s commitment to peace and stability in the region.
The Minister of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Musadik Malik, also highlighted the environmental dangers posed by the Suspension of India of the Indo Water Treaty. He warned about significant threats for food security and the livelihoods of the 240 million people of Pakistan, particularly in their agrarian economy.
Senior leader of the Popular Party of Pakistan (PPP) and member of the Parliamentary Delegation of Pakistan visiting the United Kingdom, Senator Sherry Rehman, also reiterated that Pakistan is committed to promoting peace and reducing tensions in the region.
In an interview with Sky News, Rehman emphasized that while Pakistan seeks peace, he should not be perceived as a sign of weakness. “We do not want regional conflicts to become crisis, but our desire for peace should not be confused as vulnerability,” he said.
She clarified that Pakistan’s diplomatic commitments in the United States and the United Kingdom aim to ensure that the international community receives a precise representation of the situation.
“The purpose of our diplomatic visits is to maintain intact facts and provide a truthful description of events,” he said, highlighting Pakistan’s active role in international dialogue.

When addressing recent tensions with India, Rehman described the conflict as unnecessary and not caused, attributing its origins to Indian actions. He also criticized certain Indian media to exacerbate tensions by disseminating erroneous information and alignment with the nationalist agenda of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“These media are fanning war rhetoric and spreading false reports,” he said.
The main leader of the PPP also caught attention to the important anti -terrorist efforts of Pakistan, recognizing that the country faces one of the highest rates of terrorist attacks worldwide. She affirmed that Pakistan continues to work tirelessly to combat terrorism and guarantee regional stability.
“Pakistan is committed to peace and security, and we are doing everything in our power to counteract terrorism and promote stability in the region,” he concluded.

After the high fire with India, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appointed Bilawal to lead a high -level delegation responsible for presenting the “case of Pakistan’s peace” about the recent Indian aggression to the international community.
The Committee aims to interact with global leaders and institutions to raise awareness about the actions of India and Pakistan’s concerns regarding the treaty of the Indo’s waters. The government has also planned to send additional delegations to other countries as part of a broader diplomatic scope.
