The United Kingdom launches E-Visas for Pak students, workers

Islamabad:

The United Kingdom has officially introduced electronic visas for Pakistani students and workers, marking a significant step towards a modernized and simplified immigration process.

As of July 15, the majority of the main applicants requesting a study by the United Kingdom or visas related to work will no longer require a physical label visa in their passports. Instead, they will be issued a digital record of their immigration status, known as Evisa.

An Evisa is an online confirmation of the permission of an individual to enter, stay or work in the United Kingdom. It also describes any condition attached to its immigration state.
