The Vikings add Carson Wentz after Sam Howell’s trade

The NFL Carson Wentz officer has signed an agreement with his childhood team.

After spending his last season with him Eagles Philadelphia in 2020Wentz has played in four teams in the last four years (colts, commanders, Rams, Chiefs). Now he will do it five years after signing a contract with the Minnesota Vikings. It is not clear what were the terms of the contract.

The decision to sign Wentz occurs shortly after a coincident movement in which Minnesota sent Sam Howell to the Eagles. For that tradePhiladelphia obtained an additional selection of fourth round, while Minnesota received a selection of fifth and seventh round in return.

Wentz now joins a field marshal room with the projected opener JJ McCarthy, veteran Brett Rypien and the rookie Max Brosmer.

GrowingWentz lived in North Dakota for a significant portion of his childhood. As the Vikings were the NFL franchise closer to their home, it became a team fan. After a roundabout and a bustling professional football career, he will return to his homeland.

Wentz has 22,410 air yards and 153 touchdowns in 98 race games. He won a Super Bowl with the Eagles in the 2017-18 season as a support after tearing his ACL in the middle of a MVP caliber season.
