Valerion has announced an improved version of its Visionmaster Max Laser projector that offers a better brightness and contrast, as well as a significantly improved black level performance and the elimination of the effects of the rainbow.
Valerion says that this is the first lifestyle projector in the world that presents interchangeable lenses, Gigabit Ethernet and a “unparalleled” black level performance.
That last improvement occurs through the dark field engine of Noirscene and promises “black ink and an impressive dimensionality that would even jealous even the OLED screens.”
Visionmaster Max: key features
The new Visionmaster Max is capable of a maximum brightness of 3,500 ISO lumens and offers a 5,000: 1 native contrast and an improved black level contrast (EBL) of 50,000: 1.
The projector is designed to launch images of up to 300 inches through its triple RGB laser, and presents Dolby Vision, HDR10+, improved IMax, filmmaker mode and 24/48 fps operation. There is a low latency (4 ms) mode for games, dynamic tone mapping and 110% of the REC.2020 colors range.
As for that darker Noirsene field engine, it uses three core technologies: an improved black level algorithm for real -time optimization; a sealed design for the laser engine and lens to minimize the interference of the parasite light; and a precision opening of six blades with multilevel adjustment to control the light at the pixel level.
Valerion currently lists the new Visionmaster Max for Pre-Pedido: the shipment begins in October 2025, with a price of $ 4,999 / £ 4,349 / € 4,999 (around Au $ 10,312).
