- Operai announced a live broadcast for August 7 at 1pm ET / 10AM PT / 6PM BST
- We hope GPT-5 will be presented as OpenAi wrote “live5ream”
- It comes after many rumors and suggestions on the next model.
After innumerable rumors, teasing, indications of a delay, and many, many thoughts of CEO Sam Altman, Operai has finally confirmed a live broadcast tomorrow, and we hope to see the formal presentation of Chat GPT-5.
It is not only that we have been waiting for the next -generation model to arrive, but that a publication on X (previously Twitter) of the @openai account makes it quite clear, as read, “Live5Rela Thursday 10am PT”. That is a fairly clear spelling of ‘Livestressam’ replacing the ‘S’ with a 5, and hints the GPT-5 model.
As the next main model for OpenAI, GPT-5 is shattered to bring more speed and better efficiency, but a real focus could be how we can interact with it. We have already seen the most formal agents debuting in Chatgpt, but GPT-5 will probably bring an automatic selection of the correct model.
This means that you will not need to select the model that you think is the best adjustment, since GPT-5 will include your notice and handle the specific routing for you. With luck, that means easier and more appropriate answers for various indications. Only a few days ago, on August 3, 2025, Sam Altman shared a chatgpt screen capture with Chatgpt 5 as the selected model in the upper corner.
With a live broadcast for tomorrow, on August 7, 2025 at 1pm ET / 10am PT / 6pm BST, this will be a fairly full week for OpenAI. Yesterday, on August 5, 2025, Operai debuted two open weight AI modelsGPT – ASS -20120B and GPT -OSss – 20b. The last of which is capable of running locally in a PC of consumption.
GPT-5 would have a significantly more immediate impact, assuming that you get a wide launch and could be in the hands of consumers shortly after live broadcast. Sam Altman made fun of an X post on August 2, 2025, which OpenAi has “a lot of things to launch in the next two months (new models, products, features and more”, so the live broadcast of August 7-Rer, Liveream, could be the beginning of many new features to test.
Of course, Altman also used that publication to warn about capacity problems or ‘hypo’, so similar to other launches with longer delivery times, it could be a bit a wait before trying GPT-5 for you.
Any of the routes, stay with Techradar while we will inform live of what Operai announced during its live broadcast tomorrow, and bet on GPT-5. Like Operai’s previous ads, we hope the event is broadcast live on the brand youtube channel here.
