While we wait for the next grand theft car 6 For the trailer to be released, a former Rockstar Games developer also shared his excitement, but says that what you see in the trailers has been polished more than anything else off camera.
Speaking on the Kiwi Talkz podcast, and as discovered by GamesRadar+, environmental artist David O’Reilly, who has credits on GTA 5, GTA 6and Red Dead Redemption 2He mocked the cityscape of the game, in which he participated.
“I can’t wait for the next trailer, all that stuff I have no idea about, the characterization, seeing that city developed a lot more than the last time I visited,” O’Reilly said.

That said, the developer suggested that everything fans see in these big trailers has been more refined than what the camera doesn’t capture.
“When you make a trailer, they look at where the camera is going to be and that view is very polished,” he explained.
“Whereas everything that’s not in that view is still not completely polished. The whole world doesn’t look like that. You focus on the areas of the trailer.”

when the last GTA 6 When the trailer was released, Rockstar confirmed that the footage was captured on the base PlayStation 5, and while we don’t know what frame rate the game was running at, what we saw looks incredible.
However, as O’Reilly said, that was just what Rockstar wanted us to see at the time, so there’s a good chance the team is still hard at work polishing everything else behind the scenes.
When asked further about the game, O’Reilly was unable to provide any story details because he was in the art department, despite working on it for five years, suggesting that parts of the game are even being kept secret from members of Rockstar’s development team.
“With GTA 6People say, ‘What’s the story?’ And I was like, ‘I have no idea, man, I don’t know.’ Because I worked on it for five years, but I have no idea about the plot, other than I knew it had two characters, and that was all my knowledge,” he said.
As for when we can expect to see the third. GTA 6 In the trailer, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has confirmed that marketing will begin in the coming months, meaning it could arrive this summer.
GTA 6 It was initially scheduled to release on May 26, 2026, but is now scheduled to arrive on November 19, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
