A lower traffic accident in the Isa Nagar de Karachi area intensified when a woman opened fire in response to a collision, which led to her arrest and a police investigation.
According Express newsThe incident took place on Friday night around 1 in the morning, when a truck crashed with a luxury car. In an anger attack, the woman, identified as Alesha Amir, left her vehicle, took a 9 mm gun and fired in the air.
The shots caused panic in the area, which led the driver of the truck, Zafar Iqbal, to seek refuge behind the nearby police officers.
Police responded quickly to the scene and stopped both people. Alesha Amir and the truck driver were named in a single FIR. After the investigation, it was revealed that the woman’s firearm license had expired.
Police reported that the accident occurred when the truck hit the luxury car. The reckless actions of Amir intensified the situation, causing fear among the spectators. While the truck driver fled to a safe place, the police quickly arrived to stop both parties involved.
When stopping, Alesha presented her firearm license, but the authorities discovered that she was outdated, which caused additional legal actions.
Police have submitted charges under section 337 of the Pakistan Criminal Code for the reckless dismissal of women, and more sections of the arms laws to possess an expired weapons license.
Both Alesha and Zafar IQbal were taken to the Women’s Police Station and the GDP Police Station, respectively, and their vehicles were confiscated. They were later presented at the Court, where they were arrested in custody.
The incident highlights the continuous problems in Karachi with the non -controlled movement of heavy vehicles such as trucks and dumpers, which have been a source of concern for local residents.
