The information minister, Attaullah Tarar, has said that Pakistan’s position on the global stage has been significantly high after handling the conflict with India in Marka-E-HAQ.
Speaking to journalists in Lachin, Azerbaijan on Wednesday, Tarar said that Pakistan’s narrative had been validated internationally, attributing diplomatic success to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Vice Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
“The world completely recognized Pakistan’s position as true,” Tarar said. “Credit is for PM and DPM, which have significantly improved the diplomatic dissemination of Pakistan.”
Tarar also pointed out with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him “a defeated and failed politician” who is “in deep panic, producing nothing more than lies to save his sunk policy.”
The information minister said that Pakistan participates in trilateral conversations with Turkiye and Azerbaijan, which underlines the importance of strategic associations between the three nations. “This dialogue means that the three nations and their leaders are on the same page,” he said.
At a meeting held a day before, Prime Minister Sharif and the president of Azerbaiyani, Aliyev, agreed to exchange delegations to boost commercial and investment ties. “The president of Azerbaijan expressed a great interest in raising bilateral relations to the new heights,” Tarar said.
The minister also highlighted the symbolic moment of the visit, with Pakistan celebrating Yerm-E-Takbeer and Azerbaijan marking his Republic Day. He expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown by the Azerbaijan people.
“We thank the people of Azerbaijan for celebrating the victory of Pakistan,” he said. “The Prime Minister, during his meeting with President Aliyev, personally transmitted a deep gratitude for the support of Azerbaijan during difficult times.”
