The last 12 months for the WWE Drew McIntyre star have been brutal, and that can be euphemism.
McIntyre had a brutal blood enmity with CM Punk and threw another rivalry with Damian Priest that led him to put glass in the eye before Wrestlemania 41. He won that game, and the two established the score in a steel cage in the last show of the “main event of Saturday night” in May.

The game with Priest was the last one that anyone saw by McIntyre before returning the “friday night SmackDown” last week. He pointed to Randy Orton and received an RKO when “The Legend Killer” felt he crossed the line. It will reach a critical point when McIntyre returns to action to face Orton at the “main event on Saturday night” this weekend.
McIntyre said that when his shirt is removed in the Premium Live event, fans “will see all the work that has become the physicist and the movement that has occurred in the gym.”
“Honestly, I feel better than I felt in the minimum, six or seven years. During this free time, I had the opportunity to step back and look at everything from an external perspective: the product itself and more specifically because I am only competing against myself in what I am concerned,” he told Pak Gazette Digital in a recent interview.
“And I have noticed, Wow, okay, I have some areas in which I really need to improve, although, from the perspective of a fan, they could say: ‘Well, look at your 2024 in 2025 in the microphone, in the ring, in terms of the physicist compared to all others,’ I said no, no, no.
McIntyre said he used to gloat fitness magazines about how he could eat what he wanted and maintained his incredible physique and remain in the ring.

However, during his time outside the ring, McIntyre realized that he needed to cut all that if he wanted to return to the top of the WWE mountain.
“For the first time in my life, I have brought someone to start the diet in the right way. I brought someone to kick my A- in the gym. I brought someone to start rehabilitating in the gym, stretching things that I have never done in my life and it is incredible what I opened in my body and I feel exactly as I did as before, that I won the Royal Rumble in 2020. General, I feel wrong, what I probably did as before.
McIntyre promised that he will show the world of what he is capable of in the next race.
“I am a little angry with myself because I didn’t see him when I was in the system, but he really takes a step back, out of your routine, look at everything objectively and says: ‘Where can I improve?’ … When I looked in that mirror, it was as if you were not giving everything, your diet is abysmal, you stay up to six nights in which you do not need to be that you do not sleep.

“And the fact that I am not, I do not even feel among the first three at this time, no matter the top 10. If I am not the number 1, then I am Franking and I stay in me and everything changes this Saturday.”
