Carlos Rodón’s wife, Ashley, gave a tone similar to that some New York Yankees fans expressed after a series of three games against the Houston stars completed Thursday.
The Yankees defeated the stars on Thursday to take two of three games in the series, but the Strike area caused controversy. Many fans and observers argued that Strike’s area was called unequally.
“The area is absolutely horrendous of the entire series … Gesh,” Ashley wrote in X. “Gesh.”

He later asked: “What the hell is wrong with this crew”?
Rodón, three times there of the MLB, managed to register his 16th victory of the season after the 8-4 victory on Thursday. But his wife was not happy that he had to fight the arbitrary controversy along the way. He hit three batters in six entries.

Ashley also raised concerns about how batters could develop a strategy when they entered the box and questioned the referee’s consistency. “How are you supposed to know what the area is a batter … zero consistency at all?” He wrote.

Beyond the Strike area, there was another decision of referees that made the Yankees furious.
The star of the stars, José Altuve, hit a soft eyeliner towards the third base, which the third base of the Yankees, Ryan McMahon, seemed initially. But McMahon dropped the ball during the transfer. The referee of the third base ruled that McMahon could not secure the ball and finally declared any capture.
In the second game of the series on Wednesday, the Yankees manager, Aaron Boone, and the relay pitcher, Devin Williams, was enraged after the referee ruled the releases as balls that believed they landed inside the attack zone.

Williams was finally expelled shortly after shouting at the referee. Boone was also expelled and emphatically expressed his disgust with the referee from the plate.
Jazz Chisholm also expressed his frustration with the referee after being called for strikes.
The Yankees returned to Bronx on Friday to open a series of three games against the Toronto Blue Jays.
