Islamabad:
The Federal Minister of Religious Affairs has advised young people to be very careful by sharing any material on social networks, stating that sometimes they share content that contains blasphemy.
“The youngest generation should use social networks with great caution. Sometimes, they do not even realize that they share offensive or disrespectful content,” said Minister, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, while they go to a press conference in Islamabad.
He said that publishing this content can lead to serious consequences and, therefore, parents must monitor their children to ensure that they do not share any offensive publication on social networks.
The minister said that in response to the United Nations Declaration of Islamophobia, Pakistan observes the global day for the protection of the prophet’s honor (PBUH) every year.
He said that the Ministry of Religious Affairs has also sent letters to all provinces to mark this day.
He said that some malicious elements are committing blasphemy on social networks, and such complaints should be informed about the portal of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
“The venerated personality through which we derive our identity is none other than the hole prophet (Pbuh),” he added.
