Young Scooter has died at the age of 39.
Streetz Krazy artist was declared dead on Friday, on his birthday.
The body was taken to the Gray Marcus trauma center from a place on the southeast side of the city.
The lieutenant of the Atlanta Police Department, Andrew Smith, said the rapper, whose real name is Kenneth Edward Rashaad Bailey, was in a police chase and was injured in the process, TMZ reported.
It is believed that Bailey died from a leg injury caused as she jumped on the fences.
According to the reports, the musician was fleeing from the back of a house while responding to a disturbance call.
Smith insisted that they did not shoot during the incident.
Bailey, who collaborated with Raperos such as Future and Gucci Mane in her life, was also accused of drug trafficking in 2008.
