After India beat New Zealand to ensure the title, four officials were part of the presentation ceremony, including Jay Shah, the president of the CPI, two of the BCCI, one of the New Zealand Cricket but none of the PCB. In addition to Shah, the officials present were the president of BCCI, Roger Binny, the secretary of BCCI Devajit Saikia and the director of NZC Roger Twose. It is not usual for the representatives of the nations to play in the final are at ICC ceremonies after the tournament, unless the final involves the host country.
