Rawalpindi:
With the beginning of the new fiscal year, the offer and sale of previously supplicated judicial stamps have resumed in the Rawalpindi division.
However, the Property Registration System remains paralyzed due to the absence of official notifications with respect to new tax rates and higher rates of valuation of the property of the Deputy Commissioner (DC).
Despite the intense pedestrian traffic in the property registration branch during the last 15 days, new records have not been processed.
The Government’s website to present online Chalans has also been non -functional for two weeks, implementing property transactions, transfers of notarial power and related legal processes.
The shortage of judicial stamps ended abruptly on July 1, since the provincial budget did not increase its prices.
