The Aoostar WTR Max Mini PC is a compact NAS unit fed by the AMD R7 Pro 8845HSV Enterprise processor, which is executed at speeds ranging from 3.8GHz and 5.1GHz.
The system admits up to 11 storage units, including five M.2 2280 NVME slots: three on PCIE 4.0 x2 and two on PCIE 4.0 x1 and six 2.5 -inch SATA SATA slots or 3.5 inches, for up to 500 TB of storage capacity.
While Aoostar WTR Max is mainly designed as a NAS, it offers the potential to serve as a powerful work station with support for the RAM SO-DIMM DDR5-5600 dual channel, expandable up to 128 GB with ECC support.
Real -time monitoring
The WTR Max offers a wide range of connectivity options, including USB 3.2 Gen 2, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB4 port and an Oculink (PCIE 4.0 x4) that can be used to increase graphic performance with an external GPU or an external expansion storage through a hard drive box.
Network characteristics include 2.5g dual lan ports and two intell x710 10GB LAN (SFP+) ports. For multimedia or multitasking needs, HDMI 2.1 and TYPE-C ports admit the triple 40Hz screen.
The thermal management is handled by the Aoostar Glacier Pro 1.0 cooling system, which combines a heat extensor from the large steam chamber for APU fans and two rear to regulate the temperatures of the unit.
For real -time monitoring, Aoostar includes a built -in screen combined with its patented NAS control software, which provides useful system statistics such as CPU, GPU and RAM use.
The WTR Max Aoostar is now available for pre-pedido, with the Barebone version with a price of $ 699.00. The shipment is expected to begin in May 2025.
