- IFI UP Travel connects wireless headphones to entertainment in flight
- Transmit audio through Bluetooth to audio systems in the car too
- $ 99 / £ 99 / € 99 (around AU $ 205)
The new IFI UP trip solves two common problems for travelers: the use of their wireless headphones with flight entertainment that was made for wired connections and transmit music for entertainment in the car and other audio systems that do not perform Audio Bluetooth.
The Travel Up is a two-way Bluetooth adapter that can be used to transmit from flight systems to its headphones, or from your phone to the aux-in port of a vehicle or audio product.
The device allows you to match and listen to two headphones games at the same time, although your battery is good for 10 hours, so it is possible that you do not exceed longer flights.
It has a microphone with noise and echo suppression for clear calls when you return to the ground, because why not?

The UP trip is not just a wireless dongle. It is also an adequate DAC. Instead of making the Bluetooth chipset handle the wireless and the audio, the Bluetooth module focuses purely on transmission and reception, while audio conversion is handled by a logic Cirrus Masterhifi Dac and IFI -to -measure brand circuits, as in the largest portable DAC of IFI.
Compatible codecs cover all essential elements (although availability depends on their device and what it admits), including Aptx Adaptive, Aptx HD, APTX, Low Latency, LDAC, SBC, AAC and LHDC/HWA. And in a good touch, you can change the codec, so, for example, you may want the highest possible quality to listen to music, but change something with less latency to stay synchronized with the movie in flight.
The IFI UP Travel is $ 99 / £ 99 / € 99 (around AU $ 205).
IFI has also launched a second product -centered product, the IFI Go Pod Air. It is designed for audiophiles who do not want to give up their IEM with cable, but that need the comfort of listening without cable. It transmits up to 24 bits/96 kHz and admits all high quality key codecs.
It also has incorporated microphones, for calls. The Air Go Pod costs $ 249 / £ 249 / € 249 (around AU $ 515).
