- iOS 26 PUBLIC BETA 3 Improves the opening times of the application
- This makes the use of applications feel much faster and faster.
- However, the adjustment causes the content of the applications to load faster
Apple’s third public beta version 26 has just landed, and comes with some minor settings and adjustments for its iPhone. But there is a change that really caught my attention, and has made my iPhone feel much faster in the process.
Once IOS IOS 26 Public Beta 3 has downloaded, it is likely that you notice the change almost immediately: now, open and close applications feels much more agile than before, with applications that spend on your screen as soon as you touch them. Instead of waiting for their screen, they are almost instantly there. The video below this page shows the speed in action.
In objective terms, there is probably only a lower difference in the opening and closing times of the application between iOS 18 and the third beta of iOS 26, maybe only a few milliseconds. However, in practice, you absolutely notice change. I love how fast it seems that I can immerse myself in my applications without waiting for animation to end in iOS 26.
At a time when I need to start quickly, how to open my camera application to capture a unique moment, for example, the new animation is a real blessing. But those times are relatively rare, and I have discovered that the main benefit is simply the sensation of greatest fingers that I now have with my iPhone. It is a small change, but significant.
The slight inconvenience

That said, it is worth noting that it is possible that I do not feel the benefits at all times. This is because the change affects the speed with which the container of an application loads and fills its screen, but in reality it does not make the content of that application load faster.
So, if an application is poorly optimized or takes a long time to show any content on the screen, the last public beta of iOS 26 will probably not make it faster. That means the improvements could vary, depending on the applications that you use the most.
Even so, if your applications are well done and load your internal work quickly, you will really begin to feel the improvement when iOS 26 lands correctly next month.
Updates such as this show that small settings can sometimes make a difference more than the new characteristics or large and striking changes. That is certainly the case here, and quick application load animations could be one of my favorite settings found in iOS 26 so far.
