This is not the first product of its kind we have seen: we have previously covered the K3 Maxfree and the mechanical thanks to a 10 -inch monitor, which offer the same keyboard and screen combination on a unit.
We have also found several DIY projects that produced laptops without screens, as well as notebook coupling stations with built -in screens, but few of them have been as polished or full of characteristics like this.
RGB lighting and personalized shortcuts
The Keyview 13 “Touch screen folds from 0 to 90 degrees and offers a 1920 x 720 IPS screen. Admit multitauch full of 10 points and has a wide visualization angle of 178 °, which makes it usable for video, documents or only as a second screen.
The keyboard itself uses yellow mechanical switches and PBT keys. It is totally customizable, with hot adjustable keys, RGB lighting and support for personalized shortcuts.
The device includes USB-C, HDMI, two USB 3.0 ports, an SD/TF slot and an SSD M2 bay for internal storage expansion. It is also compatible with rapid 60w pd charging.
It is compatible with macOS, Windows, Android, Linux and Chromeos. That means that it works with laptops, desks, USB-C phones with all functions such as the Galaxy Line, the latest iPhones, tablets and even game consoles.
The case is made of aluminum, ABS and plastic alloy. It is solid but weighs 2.12 kg, which makes it a backpack element that some pocket.
There is also a incorporated speaker, classified to 1W. That is nothing special, but it will be fine for quick audio notifications or tasks.
However, there are a couple of larger inconveniences: there is no battery to start, so you must plug it every time you want to use it. And there is also no tactile panel, so unless your device has the capacity to touch, you will also want to bring a mouse.
Even so, for a certain type of user, especially those who wish to turn their phone into a capable work station, it is an unusual and potentially useful option. You can buy it directly from Aura for $ 399.00, a 20% discount on its usual MSRP of $ 499.
