Popsockets is finally ready for its vertical foreground. Presented this week, the new Magsafe Kickut Grip & Stand finally makes it possible to use a popsocket as a support for an iphone in vertical mode. That’s right, all of you, Tiktokers, Popsockets became his friend -free friend.
For years, I took Popsockets on the back of my best iPhones (I even had one with a design created by one of my children). I never hit the reusable Popsocket adhesive directly on the back of my phone and, instead, I always placed a thin and transparent plastic box on the phone chassis and put the emerging grip for that.
However, when Apple introduced Magsafe, it no longer made sense to cover the load magnet. It could, but for the wireless load, I had to get the phone out of the box. Then, I changed to a friendly case with magic and an attached Speck support that included a folding foot for, you guess, hands -free video vertical video sessions.
Now, however, it is possible that you do not need the motorcycle (which unfortunately is prone to breakage; I have passed through three stands). The new popsockts kick-out Grip & Stand resembles a traditional popsocket, but instead of a small glue-covered base, outgoing grip joins a larger, round and ready-ready base for Magsafe.
Once attached to the back of an iPhone 16 or a Magsafe box of the iPhone 16, the base presents a body with hinges, which allows it to incline the grip of the foxes away from the phone, where it becomes a support. You can rotate the base to create a support for the horizontal or vertical positioning of the videos. In the photos and videos provided by Popsockets, the starting stand seems to reach the table, placing the phone at an angle of almost 90 degrees.
This seems like an ingenious Popsockets engineering, since the hinge has a full movement range, which means that it could configure its iPhone at almost any angle.
You can use the stand and stand without case and attach it directly to the back of its iPhone, but Popsockts is also selling a complementary set of Magsafe boxes for the iPhone 16 line (other iPhone alignments are admitted). Like the serve, each case is sold for $ 40. There are currently no international prices available.
Kick-out and Stand is not the first friendly design for Popsockets Magsafe, but it is the first to act as a versatile position. $ 40 may seem much to pay for an iPhone grip, but the ability to film with hands -free in any way is difficult to quantify.
I have made many Tiktok unboxings using my motorcycle support in vertical mode, and when a tripod was not available, I have supported it on the tables to obtain a complete figure taking.
One thing that is not clear is whether Popsockt heads can be changed, for example, seasonal grip heads, as could do with the back of bows of previous snacks. In my house, my wife likes to change between a spring and a friendly head for the winter, which is actually a disk -shaped snow balloon.
The Kick-out Magsafe stand comes in six styles of material and colors, such as silver (or purple), black, milk with milk, putty and dusk.
