- The 3i G10+ has a large dust container on board with dust compression
- Is designed to keep up to two months of land at once
- This eliminates the need for a self -embedded bulky dock
If your home is on the smallest side, but you still want a robot vacuum cleaner, you should usually choose: opt for a bulky dock with a large cup of dust in which the robovac can automatically empty or take a compact spring and only load and commit to manually empty the small container on board the bot regularly.
3I has presented a third option. Its newly announced Robot Vacuum has incorporated dust compression, and aims to be the best robot vacuum for those with small houses.
Inside, you will find a mechanical palette that physically crush the content of the dump on board as the bot makes its cleaning, to maximize how much land can transport. The on -board container is also large at 950 ml, larger than the one in most wireless vacuum cleaners.
All that means that although there is no place for the robot to throw its dirt on the dock, it should not yet need to empty too often. In fact, 3I suggests that it can contain up to eight weeks of dust and debris … although that will vary for how much there is in your home that needs to suck. (Pet owners must expect to have to empty it more regularly, for example). If you are concerned that the rubble are stored for so long, 3I has added a built -in UV light to sterilize the content of the container.
There are greater benefits for this configuration. The crushing of the dust occurs in real time as the robot clean, and is silent. You will never have to listen to the sound (sometimes noisy) of your vacuum cleaner robot that is each time parked. And there are no spring dust bags to get rid of or remember to buy.
3I is not the first Robovac brand that explores the idea of dust compression, but it seems the best current option for those with limited space. The Narwal Forum X Plus has compression on board, but that model still comes with a bulky dock; One that has water tanks but not dust bag. The apparently updated DustCompactor Irobot Roundba 205 Compression Compression of dust and a dock only loading, but I am not convinced that one will really do it for sale, given the company’s recent problems.
In other places, the 3I G10+ presents an extensible side brush and a trapener for an effective edge cleaning (the latter through a traperation pad with an unusual protuberance) and a very decent 18,000 pa for suction. There is automatic carpet detection and intelligent suction and water flow adjustment based on the type of dirt of the Bot meetings, and the same Lidar navigation system and avoidance of obstacles with AI as a 3I flagship model (the ultra S10).
It is also relatively affordable: the list price is $ 499, but will be launched with a discount that takes it to $ 399 (usually an indicator that it will generally not be sold at the list price). One of the things that often increases the price of today’s flags of robot today is an elegant dock that offers things like the cleaning of the pad; If you don’t necessarily want those things, but you are still interested in an advanced robot vacuum, this could be a great solution.
The Robot 3I G10+ vacuum cleaner goes on sale at Amazon US on May 29. We are in the process of testing it and we will have a live review to read as soon as possible.
