- The APU of 16 nuclei of the ABEE AI station with 126 tops AI Power makes it far from the average
- Liquid cooling and 92 mm fans maintain this little fresh hell under a heavy load of AI
- An 8600 Radeon that runs at 2900MHz with 96 GB of shared memory is not a joke
Ai Abee station, a compact but powerful workstation of AI, was recently presented at the National Conference of the AMD industry solution.
This mini work station presents the AMD Ryzen AI Max 395 processor, which offers a 16 -core and 32 APU with increases in increase of up to 5.1 GHz.
According to reports, it integrates an AI engine that offers 126 combined tops, including a dedicated NPU classified in more than 50 tops.
PC AI refrigerated by compact fluid built for local high performance inference
The integrated GPU AMD Radeon 8600S operates at 2900MHz and can assign up to 96 GB of memory for AI tasks.
It also comes with 128 GB of LP-DDR5x memory that is executed at 8000mt/s, and the storage options comprising 56 GB dual modules and a 1 TB Dove unit.
The system seems very suitable for AI and automatic learning inference, although it should be taken into account that RAM is welded and not update.
However, this level of inference performance puts it directly for the title of Best Mini PC, especially among AI developers looking for a local computing option without the cloud dependence.
The cooling design of the ABEE AI station includes 92 mm dual fans, an internal radiator and a pump mounted directly in the APU.
This configuration raises its profile as a better candidate for the workstation for users who demand sustained high performance without thermal strangulation.
Despite its compact size of 21x22x15 cm, AIE AI station incorporates a 400W Flex ATX supplying source, with platinum classification for efficiency.
ABE AI station also has a custom ATX12VO motherboard and admits advanced networks with dual ports that offer 2.5GBE and 10GBE connectivity.
This commercial PC also supports a 27 -inch Q27P3PU screen that offers a 2K resolution and an 75Hz update rate.
Additional accessories include the V700 958FI webcam with microphone and a VT60 and mouse wireless mechanical keyboard.
On paper, this device seems to have the majority of the hardware you need to maintain stable performance under sustained work loads, but real world tests will be required to validate that.
Over time, more Chinese brands like GMKTEC with the EVO-X2 and Sdunited with the AX835-025FF have begun to adopt the Strix Halo processor in their mini PC.
However, the main manufacturers such as ASUS, Framework and HP so far have limited their use of chip to larger work season -class systems instead of compact desks.
If these conventional brands will eventually bring Strix Halo to their mini PC lines they remain uncertain.
