- Oukitel WP61 is folded as a Walkie-Talkie for areas where mobile signals are not available
- The 60hz 60 -inch screen is designed for softer outdoor images
- A 20,000 mAh battery could deliver several days of continuous operation
Oukitel has introduced the WP61 Plus in IFA 2025, a resistant smartphone designed for outdoor professionals that require extended energy and versatile communication tools.
The device has a 6.8 -inch FHD+ screen with a 1080 x 2460 resolution and an update speed of 120Hz.
The large panel is built for softer images, either used for navigation applications, video mapping video reproduction.
20,000 mAh battery designed for extended use outside the network
The WP61 Plus operates on Android 16.0 and is equipped with 5G full band connectivity for wide network compatibility.
Its dimensions are 179.5 x 84.7 x 27.2 mm, a size that reflects the need to accommodate its large 20,000 mAh battery and its additional hardware.
The device is finished in black, adhered to the typical aesthetics of resistant smartphones that prioritizes durability and practicality over visual appeal.
The device feed is an MTK Dimensity 7025 processor, compatible with 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB or 16 GB storage of 512 GB storage.
The camera hardware is unusual for resistant smartphones, with a primary 108mp sensor compatible with an 8MP night lens and a 2MP macro option.
In the front, the drilling hole houses a 32MP sensor, a more typical specification of conventional smartphones of resistant models.
Perhaps the most distinctive feature is the 20,000 mAh battery, classified for 45W load, with estimates suggesting that with moderate use, such capacity could deliver several days of operation without recharging.
Its size also allows the WP61 Plus to function as a portable energy bank, capable of loading low demand devices, such as smart watches or fitness bands.
This potential for dual function makes it practical for extended field work or camp situations where conventional load access is limited, although the company did not mention an inverse load function.
For communication, the Oukitel WP61 Plus integrates a characteristic “Walkie-Talkie (DMR 2W)”, which offers a direct contact method in remote areas where network signals are weak or not available.
The inclusion of a seat charger also suggests that Oukitel intends to work on docked configurations, possibly for fleet or warehouse operations.
Additional functions include a camp light, a speaker, a fingerprint sensor, NFC and a gyroscope.
The Oukitel WP61 Plus will officially arrive in the market in November or December 2025, but if it succeeds it will depend on how reliably its large specifications will work in conditions of the real world where durability, longevity and consistent performance matter more than raw numbers.
