Ecovacs has a new flagship robot vacuum, the omniciclón deebot X11, and it is about delivering uninterrupted cleaning with a minimal human intervention. Together with the rapid recharge load, another update caught my attention: the addition of AI Agent, in the form of ‘Yiko’ agent ‘.
If it is not familiar with the term, AI AGENTIC uses systems that can make decisions and solve problems autonomously, while Gen-Ai is based mainly on predefined guidelines.
Yiko first appeared at Debot Robovacs as an integrated voice assistant in 2021. Yiko 2.0 arrived in 2023, with the ability to understand complex sentences. In 2024 we obtained Yiko GPT, who used LLM to offer even more intelligent cleaning … but agent Yiko is a step forward again.
The Yiko agent “proactively learns how he lives” and then adapts his routines to fit his lifestyle. Ecovacs says that he will do this without the need for daily contributions, but that “you only speak naturally, and Agent Yiko gets to work.”
A softer cleaning process
I am not totally sure that he is ready for a robovac with agency, but in a showcase in IFA 2025, a brand representative explained how it can be used to make the interaction with his vacuum robot a softer process. They explained that users were not taking full advantage of Robovac’s voice control: 80% of users repeat the same orders to their robot vacuum clezers every day, and many do not use the voice assistant to change the configuration.
Ecovacs has optimized agent Yiko for three areas: ‘Start’, ‘Use’ and ‘Fix’. When the Debot X11 feeds for the first time, an automatic route is activated, so you get used to instructing your bot using the voice from the beginning.
The ‘use’ part is probably the most interesting. If the omnicyclone deebot x11 places in ‘AI Agent’, specific recommendations will occur for which configurations to use, depending on the situation in which it is found.
You can detect the types of floors, so if you know you are going to clean a wooden floor, you could suggest using less water. If he asked him to clean some rooms that require mop and then continue with a carpet room, he would suggest first board the carpet room so that there is no danger of dragging wet mounts.
If you are cleaning the kitchen and believe it could be fatty, you will return to your spring to collect a heavy -duty cleaning solution (with thickening agent) instead of the standard solution.
Finally, Agent Yiko is intended to help him solve any problem he is in. It will provide real -time voice comments with problem solving guidance.
Actually, I believe that the term ‘agent’ is being used quite freely here, and we are not really seeing a robot vacuum that makes truly independent decisions. The idea of a robovac that can suggest more effective cleaning routines, I am much more on board.
The Ecovacs Debot X11 Omnicyclone went on sale in early September in the United States and Canada, with a list price of $ 1,499.99 (CA $ 1,999.99). It is available at Ecovacs.com and Amazon in the United States and Canada, in addition to Bestbuy.com and Target.com in the United States.
