- Anycubic’s portable 3D printer admits five rotational axes
- Comes with a dedicated philamination storage solution that maintains organized materials
- Control, monitor and adjust the configuration through a touch screen interface
The world of 3D printing has seen a good amount of elegant and innovative designs in recent years, such as Elegoo Centauri Carbon and Creality K2 Plus, but the Foldable Portable 3D printer of Anycubic still hopes to impress.
Unlike some of the best 3D printers, which are bulky and stationary, this Shenzhen Anycubic Technology Co., LTD (through IF Design) is folded only 75 mm high and has five rotational axes, which allows it to collapse carefully and be transported as a briefcase.
Multiple axis arms allow the printing head to stop at any position, and can print up to 460 mm high to adapt to projects of different sizes.
Elegant design with practical characteristics
The Anycubic printer presents a modern light-gray-Silver color scheme, with a dark and square print bed, probably made of glass or a material covered for adhesion and easy removal of impressions.
Its extruder system presents an active cooling fan to avoid filament jams, while a dedicated drawer style filament support is perfectly hidden in a sliding compartment in the base, keeping the material organized and easily accessible.
In addition, the nozzle seems to be standard size, compatible with various types of filaments, including Pla and PETG.
The printer includes a touch screen interface, which offers an intuitive way to navigate the configuration and monitor impressions. The connectivity options include two USB-A ports, a USB-C port and a micro-HDMI port, allowing users to load in printed files.
Anycubic’s latest innovation could redefine what users expect from portable 3D printers, and has already won the IF Design 2025 award, but the company has not offered an official release date.
