- Creative Stage Pro is a compact but powerful sound bar 2.1

- “Around” launch of August 19 for £ 139 / $ 169
As much as I like a giant neighboring frustration sound system, some of the best sound bars are too large, too powerful and too expensive for more modest spaces and configurations or to use with a desktop PC. Creative’s new Pro stage is a compact sound bar designed for those more modest spaces and budgets, and promises a sound that fills the room with a relatively small footprint.
The unique point of sale here is the Creative Superwide, which says it expands the sound scenario beyond the physical limits of the sound bar to offer an “unexpectedly expansive and spatial auditory experience.”
Creative Stage Pro: key features and prices
The specification here is impressive: there are 160W of maximum power (80W RMS) through an Audio / Dolby Digital Plus 2.1-Beater configuration that includes a long shooting subwoofer; HDMI arc with CEC; Bluetooth 5.3; and optical connectivity, aux and USB.
There are two listening modes: nearby field/forefront listening, and distant field for living rooms and similar spaces.
All that is full within the framework of a subwoofer in the form of a cereal box that has only 42 cm / 16.5 inches deep, and the sound bar itself, which is 55 cm / 21.6 inches wide and 11 cm / 4.4 inches deep.
This seems a good option for players, accommodation for students and smaller apartments, and also has a very good price: the official price is £ 139.99 / $ 169.99 (around AU $ 288), although in the United Kingdom, Creative currently offers it for £ 129.99.
