- independent game Rizz Dungeon: The master key to my heart has a free demo available now
- It’s a cute game about flirting with fantastical creatures.
- It will be released in full later this year.
Upcoming standalone release Rizz Dungeon: The master key to my heart I just received a free Steam demo as part of the ongoing WINGS Women’s Day sale.
The game, which comes from Turnip Boy commits tax evasion Developer Snoozy Kazoo is all about flirting your way through retro-style fantasy dungeons.
You play as Taffy, the desperate ex of a powerful dragon demon lord who embarks on a long quest to win her back with rare gifts found in a dungeon full of monsters. Unfortunately, you have almost no combat ability, but tactical flirting soon proves enough to win the day.

The game’s turn-based “combat” system challenges you to carefully time kisses while charging up a courage meter that unlocks the option to activate a powerful “rizz” move. This allows you to choose from a variety of pick-up lines, the most effective being wooing the monster to join your party.
From then on, they will be able to fight on your behalf; it’s almost like Pokémonbut with all the thirst for a particularly spicy Baldur’s Gate 3 game and many moments of laughter out loud. Each monster has one of four different personality types, with a dynamic interaction system that requires you to give each the right amount of attention to avoid arguments.
I’ve had a good time with the demo so far (I especially like the super cute pixel art of each character, not to mention the constant stream of very Gen Z jokes), and the full game promises access to over a dozen types of monsters, including werewolves, goblins, unicorns, and more. That’s in addition to five unique dungeons to explore and bonding activities like inn visits and sleepovers.
The Steam store page clarifies that “this is a short game created by a small team” in a giant bright animated font on the right, so I don’t expect this to be the longest game out there, but I’m still looking forward to playing more when it releases later this year.
