The unidentified terrorists set up a deadly assault against a squad of the Border Police (FC) in Hagu at night on Sunday night, leaving three martyred staff and another 21 injured, including three in critical condition.
According to police officers, terrorists broke into the FC fort into the Torá Wadi area of Doaba under the cover of darkness, causing an intense crossfire.
Security officials confirmed that Naik Sadiq Hussain, a resident of Safedsang, Sepoy Abdul Ghaffar by Sado Garhi Chehel Ghazi Baba, and Sepoy Zewar Khan of Yar Ghalji embraced the martyrdom in the attack.
At least 21 staff suffered wounds.
